Creating a truly bespoke vehicle begins with design, but is not complete without proper validation. Our electrical engineering (E/E) team recently drove a Karma Revero and a pre-production Revero GT from Karma HQ to Palm Springs. We tested and validated basic vehicle functionality, electric range, and traction motor performance in hot weather and challenging driving conditions through canyon roads.
Our E/E team also monitored many of the new Revero GT features including steering wheel controls, radio/infotainment, cruise control functions, and even the new seat ventilation performance.
“Probably one of the coolest new features in the Revero GT is the ADAS haptic feedback function where the steering wheel vibrates during lane departure warnings (LDW) and forward collision warning (FCW) events,” says Systems Integration and Validation Engineer, Charles Brillantes. “It really alerts the driver into paying attention much more effectively. Being part of the validation team, we always wants to ensure customer confidence and safety in all driving conditions.”
